Migration from unmanaged teams to managed teams with Unmanaged Bot

Preparation

In order to ensure that the managing process runs smoothly, it is advisable to create an extra template and  policy package for this process. This then contains only for the managed teams e.g. an extra lifecycle or naming conventions.

To consider

Any interfaces that already exist in the team should be taken into account and excluded from provisioning.

For example, any sync by name that would be overridden by the naming convention (PowerShell scripts pointing to the team name, OneNote sync from the team to the OneNote desktop app, etc).

Launch Unmanaged Bot

When all preparations are complete, the unmanaged bot can be started. Chat notifications are sent to all owners with the request to convert the team to the Teams Manager.
